HURRICANE HELENE

Our Fleet Operations Center in Miami continues to actively monitor the situation following the passage of Hurricane Helene. As always, the safety of our guests and crew remains our priority and our ships are sailing a safe distance from unfavorable weather caused by the storm. The following homeports and itineraries are currently being monitored: 

JACKSONVILLE – The port is currently open.        

• Carnival Elation 09/21/2024 – The ship returned to Jacksonville this afternoon, Friday, September 27, and guests have disembarked.      

• Carnival Elation 09/26/2024 (now departing Friday, September 27, 2024) – The cruise will now operate as a 3-day voyage, visiting Freeport (Sunday, September 29, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM). Guests who sail will receive:  

• • A 25% refund for cruise fare, pre-paid gratuities, beverage, and WiFi purchases.
  • US$100, per stateroom, onboard credit.

For embarkation Friday, September 27, guests should arrive for check-in eight (8) hours later than their pre-selected terminal arrival appointments (for example, 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM appointment will become 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM). All guests must be checked-in by 9:30 PM for departure shortly thereafter.   

Guests who are unable to sail will receive a 100% future cruise credit (FCC) for their cruise fare and a full refund for any pre-purchased items for this voyage.

TAMPA – The port is currently closed.    

• Carnival Paradise 09/21/2024 – The ship is currently sailing a safe distance from the remnants of the storm but is in position to sail into Tampa when clearance is received. We expect to dock sometime Saturday afternoon, September 28.  

• Carnival Paradise 09/26/2024 – This voyage has been cancelled.  A full refund for the cruise fare and all pre-purchased items will be issued to the original form of payment. Please check our email for more details.
