Back to Back Cruises

Published 04/18/2017 11:11 AM   |    Updated 02/21/2024 10:34 AM

You are able to extend your cruise vacation experience by booking two or more cruises consecutively. This is referred to as a Back to Back cruise. You can book a Back to Back cruise as cruise only, or with our Fly2Fun air program. Below you will find information specific for Back to Back cruises.

Please note: it is extremely important that your bookings are referenced as Back to Back, so if you have booked online, please give us a call at 800-764-7419 to have this done.

ONBOARD PROCEDURES

First Cruise - Embarkation Procedure
You will check-in only for your first cruise, in the usual manner.

First Cruise - Debarkation Procedure | Second Cruise - Check-In

  • You will gather in a designated area on board the ship (without your luggage) as advised by the Guest Services Desk; a Guest Service Rep will escort all Back to Back guests off the ship as the last disembarking group.
  • You will present yourself to the U.S Customs Border and Protection (CBP) officers located in the cruise terminal.
  • You will be escorted back on board by the Guest Service Rep and will check-in for your second cruise (or next cruise) at the Guest Services Desk.
  • At this time, you will receive a new Sail & Sign card. The new card allows you to leave the ship while the ship is docked at the home port (much like a port-of-call).
  • In addition, you will receive a coupon for a complimentary beverage and a coupon for a complimentary photo to be taken on the first evening of the cruise.

Second Cruise - Change of Stateroom
If you need to change staterooms for the second cruise, the Guest Services Desk will send a Luggage Service team member to your stateroom to assist in moving your luggage to your new stateroom. This needs to be taken care of in the morning during debarkation and prior to the start of embarkation for the second cruise.

Alcohol and Beverage Policy
The same policy applies - click here for details. You are entitled to bring onboard the same quantity as stated in the policy, per guest, per cruise. The additional quantities will be stored for safekeeping at the start of the first cruise and will be given to the guest as each following cruise begins.

Alcohol Purchased in Port or Onboard (The Fun Shops)

Alcohol will be stored for safekeeping until the end of the final voyage. The retained items will be available for collection in a designated lounge on the morning of debarkation.

Casino Credits/Points, FunPlay and Players Bank
Casino credits/points, FunPlay and players bank do NOT roll over to the next voyage. The guest must cash out the last night prior to debarkation day. They start a new bank and will receive their new set of perks (if applicable) on the second cruise.

Duty-Free Allowance
At the end of the last cruise, you will fill out a U.S Customs Declaration Form and list all purchases made from the last cruise and previous cruises. Whether two or more cruises, these cruises will be considered as one cruise and the usual allowance for one cruise will apply. To see more details on Duty-Free Allowance, please click here.
