  • A variety of cosmetic enhancements such as new carpeting, wall coverings and tile work throughout the ship, including: Diningrooms, Dance Club, Shops, Lido Restaurant and Corridors.
  • Flat-screen TV's were added to all staterooms.

  • The 12,000 square foot Spa Carnival was completely revamped and now features 11 private treatment rooms, including two couples massage rooms, a new relaxation/waiting room as well as updated equipment, new carpeting, tile work and other cosmetic enhancements.
  • New nine-hole miniature golf course on Sun Deck.
  • New Art Gallery on Empress Deck.
  • New Photo Gallery on Promenade Deck.
  • Upgraded audio/visual equipment in a variety of public areas.
  • Variety of cosmetic upgrades that include new tile work, carpeting and upholstery throughout the ship.
  • Behind the scenes: Updated galley and laundry equipment has been installed to enhance guest service.

Renovations completed during dry dock 9/04/03-10/5/03

  • A new lobby bar including a stage where a trio will play classical music.
  • Each of the 1028 staterooms will receive a complete makeover with new wall coverings, furniture, bedding and linens. In-cabin bathrooms will be fully remodeled with updated vanities, new tile work and shampoo/soap dispensers.
  • Via Marina, the enclosed promenade will receive elegant new furniture and a decorative marble floor with carpet inlays.
  • The Forum, the conference facility, will be reconfigured so that it can be utilized as both a meeting space and entertainment venue.
  • Windows on the Sea, the Lido Restaurant will be enhanced with new tile work, carpeting and additional salad and dessert bar stations.
  • Numerous lounges and dining rooms will receive cosmetic enhancements, with new carpeting and wall coverings throughout.

Renovations completed during dry dock 9/14/00-9/28/00

  • The Promenade Deck was changed to an Ancient Roman heme
  • A new 300-seat conference center was added which replaced two-thirds of the aft lounge
  • A new Children's World was added which replaced one-third of the aft lounge. The Children's World includes: a playroom; an arts and crafts room; a computer room
  • A large amount of carpet replaced throughout the ship
  • Re-caulking of outdoor teak decks
  • Main pool retiled
