Seuss-a-Palooza™ Story Time
To kids, anytime is a good time for story time. But story time with Dr. Seuss aboard a Carnival cruise is unlike any they’ve experienced on land. Seuss-a-palooza™ Story Time is a memorable reading event hosted by the cruise director, complete with character appearances and audience participation.
- Taking place each voyage in the Main Lounge in front of a grand Seussian tent, kids and their parents are treated to a unique and memorable story reading of one of Dr. Seuss’s classic books – Horton Hears a Who!
- This interactive reading also includes audience participation and a special character appearance that encourages participation from audience members, young and old.
Seuss-a-Palooza™ Parade
Stand up and cheer for the Seuss-a-palooza Parade, now streaming down the deck of select Carnival ships. Join characters you love — and a flock of your fellow fun followers — as you become part of the spirited procession of the biggest (and smallest) fans on this side of shore. This parade spreads the fun, so go spread the news… and to think that you’ll do it on your Carnival cruise!
The mischievous Thing 1 and Thing 2 are having a birthday party at sea — on your cruise — but in typical Seuss style they’ll actually be celebrating YOU. That’s right! Whether your birthday is near, was last week, or even last year, we want to celebrate your uniqueness at Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast!
- The special breakfast will take place typically on a sea day morning, in the main dining room at 8:30am and 9:30am; scheduling is based on itinerary, so once on board, guests will be notified of the day the event will occur.
- In addition to the unique menu, classic breakfast offerings are available as well.
- The popular Dr. Seuss characters will join guests for fun interactions and one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
- There is a reservation fee of $15 USD per adult and $10 USD per child, 11 and under (children under 2 are complimentary). The fee includes breakfast and the wait staffs’ gratuity; additional gratuities may be extended at the guest's discretion. The fee does not include any beverage that is normally ordered through bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water.
- This breakfast is featured on all ships.
